Students Help Those Impacted by Hurricane Harvey
Our students are coming together to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey! Our high school student government and our high school orchestra are holding drives to benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey. The orchestra is holding a school supply drive as well as an instrument collection. The high school is also spearheading a Be the Change drive that the whole district is participating in and students are being encouraged to donate their loose change. Additionally, Dorseyville Middle School students are also holding a drive led by two seventh grade students, Mary and Martin Stanton. They are collecting nonperishable food items and will be delivering them to a Pittsburgh food bank who will then make sure the donations get to a food bank to help those in need in Texas. Great job!
