Students Score High on National German Exam

Several Fox Chapel Area School District students recently earned high marks on the 2017 National German Exam. Senior Dominic Gaggini won a gold award and is eligible to win a free trip to Germany. Freshmen Eve-Lyn Nicklas and Aaron Santilli won bronze awards, and honorable mention awards went to juniors Joseph Kirklewski and Bridget Shelestak, sophomore Courtney Kennedy, and freshman Shando Naini.

The National German Exam was taken at Fox Chapel Area High School earlier this school year and students from across the United States take the exam. The Fox Chapel Area students are under the instruction of German teachers Tanja Koller and Drew Richards.
