High School Students to Perform Original Plays

Fox Chapel Area High School students will hold their 17th Young Playwrights Festival December 4, 2014, from 8:15 a.m.-2 p.m. in the high school large group instruction room. Several students will perform eight original plays that Fox Chapel Area High School students have written. The students have been assisted in the development of their plays by Fox Chapel Area High School theater arts teacher Sally Meyers.

The original plays of the following students will be performed:
•Senior Mikhail Ferree, playwright of "Play"
•Senior Jason Huggler, playwright of "Mismatched Clothing"
•Freshman Lillian Cisek, playwright of "Trails of the Dead"
•Freshman Emma Francioni, playwright of "Stop It!"
•Freshman Madeline Macek, playwright of "Twin on the Run"
•Freshman Nathaniel Meth, playwright of "Best Friends Forever, Maybe?"
•Freshman Delaney Roberts, playwright of "The Raven Crest Murders"
•Freshman Megan Stafford, playwright of "Alone"

The playwrights will be joined by the following students who will also perform in the plays: sophomore Morgan Hurley and freshmen Georgia Bordean, Erin Burkhart, Kristin Rhodes, and Renee van der Velden.
